Clinical Context

Used when providing anesthesia for coronary artery bypass grafting with cardiopulmonary bypass. The most common cardiac surgical procedure. Requires invasive monitoring, TEE, management of cardiopulmonary bypass, and careful post-bypass hemodynamic management.
