Used when providing anesthesia for total pelvic exenteration involving removal of the bladder, rectum, and internal reproductive organs en bloc. Performed for recurrent or advanced pelvic malignancies. One of the longest and most complex surgical procedures with massive fluid shifts and blood loss.
