Clinical Context

Used when providing anesthesia for radical prostatectomy including open retropubic, perineal, laparoscopic, or robot-assisted approaches. Nerve-sparing techniques are common. Requires steep Trendelenburg positioning for robotic approach with attention to ocular and airway complications.
