Anesthesia for vulvectomy. Covers general or regional anesthesia for surgical excision of the vulva, ranging from simple to radical vulvectomy, typically for vulvar carcinoma or severe vulvar intraepithelial neoplasia.

Clinical Context

Used when providing anesthesia for vulvectomy procedures including simple vulvectomy, radical vulvectomy with inguinal lymph node dissection, and skinning vulvectomy. Performed for vulvar squamous cell carcinoma, melanoma, or extensive VIN. May require lithotomy or modified lithotomy positioning.
