Anesthesia for all procedures on nerves, muscles, tendons, fascia, and bursae of the upper leg. Covers anesthesia for soft tissue surgical procedures of the thigh region.

Clinical Context

Used when providing anesthesia for soft tissue procedures of the upper leg including muscle biopsies, fasciotomy for compartment syndrome, nerve repair, tendon repair, and soft tissue tumor excision in the thigh. May use peripheral nerve blocks as primary or adjunct anesthesia.
