Anesthesia for all closed procedures on the upper ends of the tibia, fibula, and/or patella. Covers anesthesia for non-operative management of proximal tibia, fibula, or patellar fractures.

Clinical Context

Used when providing anesthesia for closed procedures on the proximal tibia, fibula, or patella, including closed reduction of tibial plateau fractures and patellar fracture reduction. May use regional nerve blocks or general anesthesia.
