Clinical Context
Used when providing anesthesia for radical resection of bone tumors of the lower leg, ankle, or foot. May include wide excision of primary bone tumors (osteosarcoma, Ewing sarcoma) with endoprosthetic or allograft reconstruction, or below-knee amputation for malignancy.
