Clinical Context
Used when providing anesthesia for soft tissue procedures of the shoulder and axilla including rotator cuff repair, labral repair, shoulder muscle biopsy, axillary nerve decompression, and shoulder fasciotomy. Interscalene nerve block is the primary regional technique.
