Clinical Context
Used when providing anesthesia for soft tissue procedures of the forearm, wrist, and hand including carpal tunnel release, trigger finger release, tendon repair/transfer, Dupuytren's fasciectomy, and peripheral nerve repair. Brachial plexus or peripheral nerve blocks commonly used.
