Clinical Context
Used for transanal endoscopic microsurgery for excision of rectal adenomas, early rectal cancers (T1), or rectal carcinoids. Provides superior visualization and precision compared to traditional transanal excision. Alternative to radical proctectomy for selected early rectal cancers.
