Benztropine mesylate injection for intramuscular or intravenous administration, an anticholinergic agent used to treat extrapyramidal symptoms.

Clinical Context

Used acutely to treat extrapyramidal side effects (dystonia, akathisia, parkinsonism) caused by antipsychotic or antiemetic medications. Also used for idiopathic Parkinson disease.
