Onabotulinumtoxin A injection, a neurotoxin that blocks acetylcholine release for muscular and cosmetic applications including dystonia and spasticity.

Clinical Context

Used for cervical dystonia, blepharospasm, hemifacial spasm, overactive bladder, migraine prophylaxis, and spasticity. Also approved for aesthetic facial rejuvenation. Injected directly into target muscles to prevent acetylcholine release.
