Tocilizumab injection is a humanized monoclonal antibody targeting interleukin-6 receptor used for rheumatoid arthritis, giant cell arteritis, and other inflammatory conditions.
Clinical Context
Indicated for moderate to severe rheumatoid arthritis, giant cell arteritis, and systemic sclerosis-associated interstitial lung disease. Blocks interleukin-6 signaling to reduce inflammation. Administered intravenously or subcutaneously.
