Radiography of the sternum (breastbone) including two or more views. Evaluates sternal fractures, degenerative changes, and post-surgical healing.

Clinical Context

Obtained when sternal injury is suspected, particularly after chest trauma or cardiac surgery. Multiple views allow visualization of sternal fractures and assess integrity of surgical fixation.
