Surgical fusion or attachment of finger tendons to each other to improve functional hand position and prevent independent finger motion, typically performed for neurologic deficit or to improve grip.

Clinical Context

Indicated for neurologic deficit with finger drop or paralysis, where fusing tendons improves hand positioning and functional grip. Also used for spasticity management.
