Neurectomy (nerve removal) of a nerve in the foot. This procedure removes or ablates a nerve to treat chronic neuropathic pain or neuroma.
Clinical Context
Indicated for symptomatic neuromas, chronic neuropathic pain, or chronic regional pain syndrome. Morton's neuroma is the most common indication.
