Excision of the tendon sheath of the foot or toe. This procedure removes infected or inflamed tendon sheath tissue to treat tenosynovitis.

Clinical Context

Performed for chronic tenosynovitis or recurrent infection. Often necessary after initial drainage if infection persists or chronic inflammation develops.
