Removal of an arterial thrombus or embolus from the tibioperoneal or infrapopliteal arteries. Surgical extraction of blood clot from below-knee vessels.

Clinical Context

Performed for acute tibial/peroneal artery thrombosis causing acute limb ischemia. Often combined with angiography and may require lysis.
