Rechanneling (thrombectomy with endarterectomy) of artery in the iliac region with restoration of distal perfusion.
Clinical Context
Surgical treatment of iliac artery stenosis or occlusion causing claudication or critical limb ischemia. Offers excellent long-term patency; may be combined with femorofemoral bypass for contralateral disease.
