Combined hysterectomy with surgical repair of a bladder defect or fistula in a single operative session. May be performed when bladder injury is recognized intraoperatively during hysterectomy.
Clinical Context
Used when unsuspected bladder involvement is discovered during hysterectomy or when bladder defect must be addressed concurrent with uterine removal. Requires urogynecologic expertise.
