Cervical laminoplasty of two or more segments. This procedure involves opening the lamina on one side while keeping the other side intact, creating a hinge to decompress the spinal cord without fusing the vertebrae.

Clinical Context

Used for multilevel cervical spondylotic myelopathy when patient is a candidate for posterior decompression. Preserves segmental motion and avoids fusion complications, commonly used in Asian populations.
