Thoracic fascial plane block performed with single injection on one side of the chest. Medication is deposited in the fascial plane between muscles.

Clinical Context

Used for rib fractures, thoracic surgery anesthesia, and post-operative chest wall pain. Fascial plane blocks have fewer complications than traditional nerve blocks.
