Surgical removal of a lesion (tumor, neuroma, or other mass) affecting the cutaneous or sensory nerve of the skin. Preserves underlying nerve function when possible.

Clinical Context

Indicated for benign nerve tumors (neuromas, neurofibromas), painful neuromas, or other cutaneous nerve lesions causing pain or cosmetic concern.
