Surgical removal of a lesion affecting a nerve of the digit (finger or toe). May include neuroma, neurofibroma, or other benign nerve pathology.
Clinical Context
Indicated for painful neuromas or nerve tumors in fingers or toes causing pain with palpation or movement. Common in patients with prior nerve injury or amputation.
