Leucovorin calcium (folinic acid) injection for intravenous or intramuscular administration, a reduced form of folic acid used as chemotherapy rescue agent.

Clinical Context

Reduced folate cofactor administered after high-dose methotrexate to prevent myelosuppression and gastrointestinal toxicity. Also used to enhance fluorouracil efficacy in colorectal cancer.
