Injection of palonosetron hydrochloride (HCl) (Aloxi), a selective 5-hydroxytryptamine 3 (5-HT3) receptor antagonist for prevention of chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting.
Clinical Context
Used for prevention of acute and delayed CINV in cancer patients receiving emetogenic chemotherapy, with superior efficacy and longer duration than older antiemetics.
